PADI vs SSI — does it matter?
For most divers, the agency on the card matters less than the instructor behind it. All four agencies here meet the same international standards (ISO / WRSTC), and certifications are recognised across the others. What changes is the learning format and materials.
- Pick by recognition if you want the most globally familiar brand — PADI.
- Pick by format if you prefer fully digital, self-paced theory — SSI or RAID.
