The fishiest reef on the island and one of the most fun. A shallow, easy drift over low coral ridges packed with life — walls of grunts and snappers, resting nurse sharks and eagle rays in season. Perfect for all levels and a brilliant second dive.

Diving Paso del Cedral
Low coral ridges and ledges between sandy patches, at 10–16 m. Shallow enough to leave plenty of bottom time.
Dense schools of grunts and snappers stack over the reef thickly enough to drift through. Nurse sharks tuck under the ledges, green morays sit in the coral, and eagle rays pass in season. Groupers and turtles as well.
The shallow depth suits newly certified divers, and makes this an ideal second dive after a deeper morning wall.
