Diving Paso del Cedral
Paso del Cedral is shallow, gentle and absolutely teeming. The reef is a series of low coral ridges and ledges between sandy patches, sitting around 10–16m — easy depths that leave plenty of bottom time to enjoy the show.
And it is a show: dense schools of grunts and snappers stack up over the reef so thickly you drift right through them. Nurse sharks tuck under the ledges, green morays peer from the coral, and in season eagle rays cruise past. Groupers and turtles round out a site that simply feels alive.
Because it's shallow and forgiving, Cedral suits newly certified divers and makes an ideal shallow second dive after a deeper morning wall — relaxed, colourful, and rich with fish behaviour to watch.
