Diving Paradise
Paradise is exactly what its name promises for new divers: a shallow, sheltered reef close to shore, around 10–14m, with gentle conditions and rounded coral heads scattered over sand. It's our go-to site for first-time and Discover Scuba divers, and a relaxed warm-up for anyone easing back into diving.
The easy depth and proximity to town also make Paradise the island's classic night dive. After dark the reef changes character — octopus emerge to hunt, and with patience you can find seahorses clinging to the coral and the endemic splendid toadfish out from under its ledge.
Whether it's your first dive ever or your first dive in years, Paradise is a gentle, life-filled introduction to what makes Cozumel special. New to scuba? See Discover Scuba to get started.
